Biography

I have embraced my love of painting from early childhood, participating in my first exhibition at the age of twelve. Having the opportunity to present my artwork in a serious environment was immensely inspiring at an early age. I graduated in Spring of 2016 with an Associates’ Degree of Art History from Capilano University. My website and social media platforms were launched in August 2016. I subsequently participated in six exhibitions, making connections through the Port Moody Arts Centre, Place Des Arts, and North Vancouver Arts Council. In 2017 I successfully entered into twelve exhibitions, connecting with Semiahmoo Arts, West Vancouver Arts Council, Burnaby Arts Council and Seymour Art Gallery. 2018 saw the completion of three private commissions and being featured in the “You Are Here” calendar project which funds cultural mapping by West Vancouver Arts Council and North Vancouver Arts Council. A significant amount of 2019 was spent doing concept research and experimental practice, delving into the deeper questions of why I'm creating art. I also continued with my commission work and began to incorporate photo editing and the use of digital media into my practice. I currently practice from a small studio in East Vancouver, nurturing my love of creating and embracing new opportunities
